Goodrich is 9-1 against Lake Fenton since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Martians will host the Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. Goodrich is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Goodrich's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Midland by a score of 3-0.

Not much got past Abby Stefanski, who gave up just seven hits to keep Midland off the board. Stefanski has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jayden Gohs, who went 2-for-3 with one home run. Alisyn Raether was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Lake Fenton hadn't done well against Clio recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Blue Devils narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mustangs 4-3.

Parker Beardsley (Mott Community Coll was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.

Goodrich's victory was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Lake Fenton, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

Goodrich beat Lake Fenton 7-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Martians repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
