            Baseball Preview: Paraclete Spirits vs. Serra Cavaliers        
        
		
        
        
            The Paraclete Spirits will take on the Serra Cavaliers at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Paraclete and three for Serra.
Last Tuesday, Paraclete came up short against St. Paul  and fell  5-2.
 Jacob Draper was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  tossed six innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   six  hits. Those  hits marked the first that  he  allowed this season.

 On the hitting side,  Julian Trejo and  Armando Saucedo stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Trejo  scored a  run and  stole  Two bases. while going 2-for-3, while  Saucedo  scored a  run and  stole  Two bases. while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave  Saucedo a new career-high in  stolen bases.  Abraham Perez was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  RBI.
 The home team had come away the winner the last three times Serra and St. Paul had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Serra fell  5-2 to St. Paul on Friday.
 Serra's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Paraclete, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
 Paraclete came up short against Serra in their previous meeting  back in February, falling  4-0. Can Paraclete avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
