Soccer Game Preview: Middlesex vs. Roxbury Latin

Middlesex will head out on the road to challenge the Roxbury Latin Foxes at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Middlesex fell victim to Noble & Greenough and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Middlesex can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 27th, while Noble & Greenough is ranked third).

Meanwhile, Roxbury Latin also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Belmont Hill on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for Roxbury Latin in their meetings with Belmont Hill: they've now lost four in a row.
