It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Wylie had no problem doing just that on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 68-44 margin over the Rockwall-Heath Hawks. The victory was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on seven straight.

When it comes to explaining why Rockwall-Heath lost, don't look at Kaleb Turner-Dicus. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-17 to rack up 20 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Turner-Dicus' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Bryce Wood was another key player, putting up six points.

Wylie's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Rockwall-Heath, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 23-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Wylie will square off against Duncanville on Thursday. Duncanville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully Wylie likes a good challenge. Rockwall-Heath does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
