Softball Recap: Hudson's Bay Comes Up Short

Hudson's Bay was the 15-3 winner over Washougal when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost 31-1 to the Panthers on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Panthers since March 16, 2017.

Hudson's Bay is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Washougal, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hudson's Bay will face off against Mark Morris at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Monarchs will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Washougal, they will take on Hockinson at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 9.9 runs per game this season.
