Football Game Recap: Pocahontas County vs. Greenbrier West

Greenbrier West were out to avenge their 21-34 loss to Pocahontas County from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. On Friday, Greenbrier West lost to Pocahontas County by a decisive 0-17 margin.

The defeat dropped Greenbrier West's record to 1-6. The win bumped Pocahontas County's record up to 4-3.

Greenbrier West will look to defend their home turf next week against Richwood at 7:30 PM. Richwood are limping into the game on a three-game losing streak. Pocahontas County will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Summers County in two weeks at 7:00 PM.
