Flag Football Recap: East Union's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

East Union waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 24-6 win over the Oakdale Mustangs. The Lancers pushed the score to 24-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs cut but never quite recovered from.

East Union's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB nine times. The heavy lifting was done by Vanessa Velazquez and Makayla Burlingame, who racked up all nine sacks between them. Burlingame has been hot for a while, having posted at least one sack the last nine times she's played.

East Union's record now sits at 10-5. As for Oakdale, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
