High school basketball: Top-ranked prospects Cameron Boozer and Isaiah Collier headline 20th annual Chick-fil-A Classic

Calvary Christian Academy, Columbus, IMG Academy and Wheeler headline loaded 16-team field.
The Chick-fil-A Classic, one of the premier events of the holiday season in high school basketball, announced its 2022 field Monday. The 20th annual event will take place Dec. 27-30 at River Bluff High School in Lexington, S.C.
The field is headlined by 12 out-of-state teams with high expectations this season —
Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.),
Columbus (Miami),
Greensboro Day (Greensboro, N.C.),
Hillcrest Prep (Phoenix),
Huntington Prep (Huntington, W. Va.),
IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.),
John Marshall (Richmond, Va.),
Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.),
Providence Day (Charlotte, N.C.),
Southern California Academy (Castaic, Calif.),
The Rock (Gainesville, Fla.) and
Wheeler (Marietta, Ga.).
The field will feature a pair of No. 1 overall prospects in
Isaiah Collier of Wheeler (Class of 2023) and
Cameron Boozer of Columbus (2025).
