Softball Recap: Sparrows Point's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Sparrows Point put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 14-13 W against the Dundalk Owls. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pointers have posted since April 24, 2025.

Alexa Bienkowski was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Alana Meurer, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Sparrows Point's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Sparrows Point and Dundalk will both be playing Carver A&T the next time they take the field. The Owls will head out to face the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Pointers will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
