Volleyball Game Preview: Weber Warriors vs. Logan Grizzlies

The Weber Warriors will take on the Logan Grizzlies at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Weber is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Last Tuesday, Weber earned a 3-1 win over Mountain Crest.

Weber had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-12.

Weber's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Seth Cook, who had 17 assists and four digs, and Dallin Hurd, who had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces Hurd has posted since back in May of 2024.

Weber couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 50% of their attack attempts. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a hitting percentage of 50% or higher in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Logan lost 3-0 to Green Canyon on Thursday. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-17.

Logan now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Weber, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
