Softball Recap: Trinity Triumphs

Trinity hadn't done well against Ferndale recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Wolves came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 10-7. This was a revenge game for the Wolves: when they faced off against the Wildcats on Tuesday, they had to take a 6-5 defeat.

Brynn Sommerfeld spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered seven earned runs on nine hits and racked up 12 Ks.

At the plate, Hallee Prather was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adriana Seele, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
