Baseball Recap: Gloucester County Tech Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gloucester Catholic, Gloucester County Tech was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Timber Creek Regional Chargers 5-4. For Gloucester County Tech, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 victory Timber Creek Regional walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Gloucester County Tech's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Reed Murphy, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave Murphy a new career-high. Isaac Wadusky also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Gloucester County Tech's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Timber Creek Regional, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Gloucester County Tech wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-3 defeat against Kingsway on the 24th. Timber Creek Regional has also already played their next matchup (against Highland Regional), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
