6. (6) Huntington St. Joseph Prep (Huntington, W.Va.), 8-0
Arsenal Tech (Indianapolis) — who beat HSJP twice last season — and Arlington Country Day (Jacksonville, Fla.) are on deck for the Fighting Irish at the Marshall County Hoopfest.

7. (12) Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, Calif.), 1-0
Credit the Dragons for taking on a big dog in their season opener and getting the job done against former No. 7 Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas). Five-star forward Ivan Rabb logged 28 points and 20 boards in the victory. O'Dowd travels to Florida for a game against No. 1 Montverde Academy on Dec. 12.

8. (8) Roselle Catholic (N.J.), 0-0
Opens Dec. 19 vs. Plainfield.

9. (10) Stevenson (Lincolnshire, Ill.), 4-0
The Patriots aren't quite at full strength yet as several players helped Stevenson win the Illinois Class 8A state football title Saturday. That didn't stop the hoops team from capturing the Lyons Township/Hinsdale Central Thanksgiving tournament with a 61-42 win over Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn).

10. (11) Plano West (Texas), 4-0
Texas A&M-bound big man Tyler Davis notched 30 points and 10 boards in a 69-64 win over Mansfield Timberview (Arlington) to help the Wolves take home top honors at the Coca-Cola Thanksgiving Classic.{PAGEBREAK}

11. (7) Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), 0-1
We went with the old 7-11 flip-flop on Bishop O'Dowd and Gorman. The Gaels deserve kudos for opening their season in enemy territory for a monster early-season matchup.

12. (13) Simeon (Chicago), 0-0
Opens Dec. 6 vs. Lancaster (Texas) at Chicago Elite Classic.

13. (14) Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), 0-0
Opens Dec. 6 vs. Dos Pueblos (Goleta, Calif.).

14. (15) Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, Va.), 3-0
The Dolphins backed up their preseason billing by winning the Team Works National Classic group at the Coventry Health Tournament of Champions in Illinois. Collegiate beat Potter's House Christian (Jacksonville, Fla.) in the final behind 26 points from Marcus Evans.

15. (16) Our Savior New American (Centereach, N.Y.), 4-0
OSNA has a big opportunity ahead at Marshall County Hoopfest against No. 2 Oak Hill Academy.{PAGEBREAK}

16. (17) Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, N.C.), 6-0
Junior star forward Harry Giles made sure the Trojans remained unbeaten Saturday night by putting up 36 points and 15 boards in an 87-61 win over Elite Prep Academy (Winston-Salem).

17. (18) Wheeler (Marietta, Ga.), 1-0
The Wildcats were impressive in their opener, jumping out to a 51-23 halftime lead en route to a 74-51 victory over Woodstock.

18. (19) Muskegon (Mich.), 0-0
Opens Dec. 12 vs. Rockford.

19. (21) St. Francis (Alpharetta, Ga.), 2-0

21. (NR) Atascocita (Humble, Texas), 7-0
Not a program on our radar going into the season, the Eagles have made an early-season statement by winning the McDonald's Texas Invitational and knocking off defending state champ North Shore (Houston).

22. (NR) Pebblebrook (Mableton, Ga.), 3-0
There was some preseason talk of the Falcons — not No. 17 Wheeler — being Georgia's best squad in 2014-15. That narrative won't die after Pebblebrook's 3-0 start that included final margins of 27, 37 and 30 points, respectively.

23. (NR) Southwind (Memphis, Tenn.), 5-0
The Jaguars beat Velma Jackson (Camden, Miss.) over the weekend at the Lighthouse Classic. Why is that big? Velma Jackson beat Malik Newman and Callaway (Jackson, Miss.), who beat six-time defending Georgia state champ Miller Grove (Lithonia). Transitive property in play — it's early folks, that's all we've got.

24. (NR) Prestonwood Christian (Plano, Texas), 5-0
The Lions will have the opportunity to prove they belong later this month with trips to the Jerry Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas and the MaxPreps Holiday Classic in Palm Springs, Calif.

25. (NR) Sagemont (Weston, Fla.), 5-0
Did we grossly overlook Sagemont for the second year in a row? The Lions went 33-1 and captured Florida's 3A state title in 2013-14 but didn't jump on to the national radar until late in the season. After impressive wins over Norland (Miami), Victory Rock Prep (Bradenton) and St. Petersburg, we're getting on the bandwagon early this winter.

Special consideration: Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, N.C.) deserves a mention after a big weekend at the Bluegrass Showcase in Kentucky. The Fighting Pharaohs notched a 20-point win over then-No. 9 Arlington Country Day on Friday night and followed by beating Thon Maker and Orangeville Prep of Canada on Saturday. QEA also played No. 2 Oak Hill Academy tough in its season opener. So why didn't the Tar Heel State squad earn a spot in the Top 25? Losses to Word of God (Raleigh, N.C.) and aforementioned St. Louis Christian Academy keep head coach Isaac Pitts and crew out of the rankings ... for now.

Dropped out: No. 9 Arlington Country Day (Jacksonville, Fla.), No. 20 Chaminade (St. Louis), No. 23 North Shore (Houston), No. 24 North Little Rock (Ark.), No. 25 Oldsmar Christian (Fla.)
