Hoover put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 76-49 win over the Vestavia Hills Rebels. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Buccaneers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Hoover pushed their record up to 21-0 with the victory, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.6 points. As for Vestavia Hills, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 14-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hoover will face off against Oak Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hoover knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 21 contests -- so hopefully Oak Mountain likes a good challenge. As for Vestavia Hills, they will challenge Hewitt-Trussville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
