Baseball Recap: Ryle Raiders vs. Covington Catholic Colonels

On Wednesday, Ryle faced Covington Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Ryle Raiders skirted past the Covington Catholic Colonels 3-2. The victory was nothing new for Ryle as they're now sitting on five straight.

Ryle got a great performance from Grant Ashcraft as he didn't allow a single hit, only two earned runs while striking out six over 5.1 innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tate Cordrey, who went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Aj Curry, who went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
