Basketball Recap: Farmington Piles Up the Points Against Valle Catholic

Farmington waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Valle Catholic Warriors 76-45. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Farmington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryder Gollaher, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 11 points and five boards. Gollaher is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last three games he's played. Cannon Roth was another key player, going 6-for-9 on his way to 14 points.

Farmington was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 21 assists in three consecutive games.

Farmington's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Valle Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Coming up, Farmington will take on Fredericktown in a tournament on Friday. One thing working in Farmington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Valle Catholic, they will head out on the road to square off against North County at 7:30 p.m. on February 19th.
