Baseball Game Preview: Clover Blue Eagles vs. Rock Hill Bearcats

The Clover Blue Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Rock Hill Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Clover's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Rock Hill's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Clover is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over Rock Hill on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Eagles.

Clover let TJ McCluney and Gavin McNulty run wild. McCluney scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3, while McNulty went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double. McCluney also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Logan Satter, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Clover always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.
