Johnson Central barely beat Wolfe County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Golden Eagles blew past the Wolves 15-3 on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Keylee Blair was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Blair was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Bella Bowen looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Julie Dials was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Carrigan Ratliff also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Johnson Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matches.
