Baseball Game Preview: Lakeview Bulldogs vs. McKinley Red Dragons

For the second straight game, Lakeview will face off against McKinley. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to square off against the Red Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeview's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so McKinley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Lakeview's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They came out on top against McKinley by a score of 4-0. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Red Dragons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The result came thanks to Jacob Shaker's shutout, as he gave up just a hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Isaiah Lantz was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Brandon Cash was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Lakeview's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for McKinley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
