The Desert View Jaguars will be taking part in a tournament against the Salpointe Catholic Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Desert View comes in on four and Salpointe Catholic on five.

Orlando Pinedo was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
