Basketball Recap: Chase Baker Key Part of Team Effort in Saints Win

St. Thomas Episcopal hadn't done well against Westbury Christian recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The St. Thomas Episcopal Saints came out on top against the Westbury Christian Wildcats by a score of 60-53. This was a revenge game for the Saints: when they faced off against the Wildcats last Friday, they had to take a 47-36 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Thomas Episcopal to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chase Baker, who posted 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Baker is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Nguyen, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 13 points in addition to eight boards and five steals.
