Baseball Recap: Payne Tech Takes a Loss

Payne Tech managed to slip by Newark Tech the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 9-2 to the Terries on Thursday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Terries apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Payne Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Newark Tech, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Payne Tech will square off against Shabazz at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newark Tech, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 18-9 loss against Union on the 4th.
