After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Smithville brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Everything went their way against the Chippewa Chipps on Thursday as they made off with a 4-1 victory. Smithville haven't had any issues with Chippewa recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Smithville hit Chippewa with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Diego Vasquez (2), Luke Snyder, and Matthew Lanneaux.

Smithville's victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Chippewa, they moved to 3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Smithville and Chippewa will both be playing Norwayne the next time they take the pitch. The Chipps will host the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Smithies will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on September 6.
