The Harmony Christian Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 68-55 win over Varsity Opponent. The victory was some much needed relief for Harmony Christian as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Benjamin Minton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 32 points. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Harmony Christian's points. Giovanni Pittari was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Harmony Christian's victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-9. As for Varsity Opponent, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 16 of their last 20 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 385-1394-2 record this season.
Harmony Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin Road Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin Road Christian is facing Varsity Opponent at the right time seeing as Varsity Opponent is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
