Volleyball Recap: Clinton Dragons vs. Nolensville Knights

Clinton's tournament run continued when they took on Nolensville on Saturday. The Dragons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Josie Moody paced Clinton's offense, picking up three kills. Moody got some help from Alaina Staudenmaier and her four assists. Staudenmaier was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Nolensville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sadie Deming, who had five digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Jaycie Stitt, who had four digs and three aces.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Nolensville, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
