Basketball Recap: Lyman Hall Trojans vs. Lauralton Hall Crusaders
The Lyman Hall Trojans had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Lauralton Hall 48-45. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lyman Hall also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maura Bosse, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelyn Landin, who scored 12 points.
Lyman Hall's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9. As for Lauralton Hall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyman Hall will take on the Gaels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lauralton Hall, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Career Magnet has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
