Basketball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

Danville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 38-27 to the Winooski Spartans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-42 back in January.

Danville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Winooski, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

While Danville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
