St. Agnes dropped their record down to 9-7 on Friday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Life Academy Eagles. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Aggies were not able to get on the board.

As for New Life Academy, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games.

For New Life Academy's part, Noah Hahn was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Hahn has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gavin McCulloch, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple, one double, and one RBI.
