Basketball Recap: Berman Hebrew Academy's Run of Six Straight Wins Now Over

It was a good run, but Berman Hebrew Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the St. Albans Bulldogs, falling 93-73. Despite the loss, Berman Hebrew Academy still got an impressive performance from Alex August, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 boards gave August a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Itai Rozmaryn, who went 6 of 13 en route to 16 points and six rebounds.

St. Albans was led to victory by Grant Polk and Jaylen Wills. Polk dropped a double-double on 25 points and 19 boards, while Wills went 14 for 18 on his way to 30 points and six assists. The match was Polk's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Razi, who posted 14 points and five assists.

Berman Hebrew Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-3. As for St. Albans, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
