Softball Recap: Elizabeth Seton Comes Up Short

Elizabeth Seton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-2 to the Grassfield Grizzlies.

Elizabeth Seton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Grassfield, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Elizabeth Seton will face off against The Academy of the Holy Cross at 4:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Tartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.75 runs per game on average), something the Roadrunners will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Grassfield, they will square off against Indian River at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
