Volleyball Recap: Ledford's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

Ledford lost against Central Davidson back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Spartans, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered against the Spartans since October 20, 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-19.

Addison Kozel paced Ledford's offense, picking up nine kills. Kozel got some help from Alexa Deras and her 13 assists. Kozel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ledford fell to 3-1. As for Central Davidson, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Ledford will head out on the road to square off against T.W. Andrews at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Davidson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against North Davidson on the 27th.
