The Longhorns blew past the Wolves 49-20 on Thursday with plenty of help from Merrihew, who shot 54% from the field on his way to 14 points in addition to five boards and five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last five games he's played.
The win got Hyannis back to even at 5-5. As for Arthur County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
Hyannis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-16 victory against Morrill on the 9th. As for Arthur County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-34 defeat against Wallace on the 9th.
