Flag Football Recap: Newport Harbor Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Newport Harbor can now relate to. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edison Chargers on Wednesday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Sailors were not able to get on the board.

Newport Harbor's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-3. As for Edison, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-9.

Newport Harbor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edison, they will take on Dos Pueblos at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Edison's defense better be ready for this one: Dos Pueblos has averaged an impressive 34.8 points per game this season.
