Basketball Recap: Monticello Comes Up Short

Monticello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 80-62 to the Warren Lumberjacks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-34 back in January.

Monticello's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Warren, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Monticello will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Crossett at 7:00 p.m. As for Warren, they will face off against Hamburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
