Softball Recap: Sycamore Comes Up Short

Sycamore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-4 to the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints.

Sycamore saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Faithlynn Harley, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Libby Reeder also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Sycamore's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Sycamore will face off against Summit at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, they will challenge Lexington at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
