Soccer Game Preview: Forestview vs. Hickory

The Forestview Jaguars will head out on the road to square off against the Hickory Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Forestview is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.4 goals per game this season.

Forestview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Smoky Mountain 3-2.

Forestview hit the Mustangs with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ariene Catindig, Katalina Carter, and Ava Cabe.

Meanwhile, Hickory had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They blew past the Camels 6-1. Hickory might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 contests by three goals or more this season.

Hickory's victory bumped their record up to 19-1-1. As for Forestview, their win bumped their record up to 18-2-1.

Forestview might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Hickory when the teams last played back in May of 2022. Can the Jaguars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
