Landmark Christian proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 41) but on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. Painter and Nikolette Soden were among the main playmakers for Landmark Christian as the former scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and two steals and the latter scored 14 points along with five steals. Painter has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Morgan, who scored five points along with four steals.
Columbia's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-5. As for Landmark Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
