Soccer Game Preview: St. Thomas Aquinas vs. Christ Episcopal School + Official Tickets

St. Thomas Aquinas is 0-4 against Christ Episcopal School since January of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Falcons will head out to challenge the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for St. Thomas Aquinas' offense. They fell just short of Northlake Christian by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as St. Thomas Aquinas came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked sixth, while Northlake Christian are ranked 43rd).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Christ Episcopal School took on Pope John Paul II on Friday. The Wildcats lost 14-0 to the Jaguars.

The defeat was their first at home, dropping their record down to 16-2-1. As for Christ Episcopal School, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

St. Thomas Aquinas suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to Christ Episcopal School when the teams last played back in January of 2021. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
