Paradise Adventist Academy entered their tilt with Plumas Charter on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Warriors. While the Cougars didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Paradise Adventist Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-17, 15-12.

Paradise Adventist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Plumas Charter, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
