Soccer Recap: Triangle Math & Science Comes Up Short

Triangle Math & Science was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flying Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Triangle Math & Science's goal came courtesy of Meri Bibit, which was the first she's scored this season.

Triangle Math & Science's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Triangle Math & Science will square off against Research Triangle at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, they will face off against Eno River Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Excelsior Classical Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.
