Baseball Recap: Grove City Christian Eagles vs. Miller Falcons

Grove City Christian stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past the Miller Falcons 13-1. Winning may never get old, but Grove City Christian sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Brayden Ison was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Ison has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Ison was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Grove City Christian let Peyton Fillinger and Jadunn Harris loose on the outfield. Fillinger scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Harris scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Harris is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Corbin Dick, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
