James F. Byrnes came out on top against Riverside on Monday thanks in part to Connor Crenshaw's efforts. Crenshaw wasn't messing around, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit. The pitching appearance was his fifth straight with five or more strikeouts.

Crenshaw's strong effort led James F. Byrnes over Riverside and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
