Basketball Recap: San Jon Comes Up Short

San Jon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Grady Bronchos, falling 56-23. The Coyotes were not able to make up for their loss to the Bronchos from their previous meeting back in February of 2025.

San Jon's record now sits at 0-3. As for Grady, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Coincidentally, San Jon and Grady will both be playing Clovis Christian the next time they take the court. The Coyotes will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bronchos will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th.
