The Mancos Bluejays had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past Denver Christian with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 51-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mancos.

Mancos got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Claire Goodwin out in front who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Teya Yeomans, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 18 rebounds.

Denver Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Fabiana Genc, who scored four points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamiree Fuller, who scored nine points along with three steals.

Mancos is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Denver Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 20-6.
