Volleyball Recap: Mount Pisgah Christian Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Mount Pisgah Christian was the 2-0 winner over Forsyth Central when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs on Saturday.

Mount Pisgah Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Forsyth Central work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 26-24.

Ellie Lottes paced Mount Pisgah Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lottes got some help from Reghan Frazzetta and her 17 assists. Emily Childress controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Forsyth Central was led to victory by Sydney Carr and Izzy Sharp. Carr had 13 digs and three aces, while Sharp had 21 assists and eight digs. The dominant performance also gave Carr a new career-high in assists (three).

Mount Pisgah Christian's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Forsyth Central, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Mount Pisgah Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Collins Hill on the 9th. As for Forsyth Central, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Hebron Christian on the 9th.
