Baseball Game Preview: Pampa Harvesters vs. San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots

The Pampa Harvesters will head out on the road to face off against the San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are still undefeated after three-games, but that won't be the case come Monday.

On Saturday, everything went Pampa's way against Vernon as Pampa made off with a 17-1 win.

Meanwhile, San Jacinto Christian Academy owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 9-0 margin over Kress.

Sy Potter made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Jon Cruz was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Matthew Richard, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Pampa's record is now 3-0. As for San Jacinto Christian Academy, their record now sits at an identical 3-0.

Everything went Pampa's way against San Jacinto Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Pampa made off with a 12-2 victory. Will Pampa repeat their success, or does San Jacinto Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
