Baseball Recap: Great Falls Extends Winning Streak to Four

Great Falls hadn't done well against Chester recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Great Falls Red Devils sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Chester Cyclones. While the Red Devils didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Kamden Wood was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

The win (which was Great Falls' fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Great Falls wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-4 victory against Fairfield Central on the 8th. As for Chester, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-5 win against American Leadership Academy on the 8th.
