Weston Koontz Game Report: @ East Butler

For the first time in his career, Weston Koontz scored a receiving touchdown on Friday. He picked up 55 receiving yards and a pair of scores as Nebraska Lutheran fell to East Butler 74-28. We think that's the best game he's posted since September 27th, 2024, when he threw for 212 yards and five TDs, and also rushed for 108 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Looking ahead, Koontz and Nebraska Lutheran will be playing at home against Fullerton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights closed last season having struggled at home and they will enter the match having lost four straight home games dating back to last season.
