Basketball Recap: Exeter Gets the Win

Exeter won the last time they faced Hanford West, and Aden Plyman did his part to make sure it happened again. The Exeter Monarchs managed a 54-49 win over the Hanford West Huskies on Tuesday thanks in part to Plyman, who almost dropped a double-double on 30 points and nine rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Exeter's points.

Another player making a difference was Blaine Mcfall, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards. He has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 16 times he's played.

Exeter's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Hanford West, they dropped their record down to 2-21 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Exeter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-52 win against Kings Christian on the 5th. As for Hanford West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 79-55 loss against Kerman on the 6th.
