The Martinsville Artesians will square off against the Edgewood Mustangs at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Martinsville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.5  points per game  this season.
On Saturday, Martinsville came up short against Tri-West Hendricks  and fell  57-50. While losing is never fun, the Artesians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings  (they are ranked 255th, while the Bruins are ranked 99th).
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Hunter Stroud, who  went 6 for 10  en route to 15  points and five  boards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zhane Capshaw, who  posted nine points along with eight  rebounds and five  assists.
 Meanwhile, Edgewood was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  on Thursday as they fell  62-57 to Bloomington North.
 Martinsville dropped their record down to 5-12 with the  defeat, which was their fifth straight  on the road. As for Edgewood, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record  this season.
 Martinsville beat Edgewood 64-54  in their previous meeting  back in November of 2023. Does  Martinsville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Edgewood turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
